If you have already started your training, an assessment lesson will be delivered to help us understand your needs and to enable us to deliver suitable tuition. Brad Halfpenny – Owner & Approved Driving Instructor (ADI)
Hi, I’m Brad, a fully qualified driving instructor and founder of Halfpenny School of Motoring. I’m passionate about helping people of all ages gain the skills and confidence to drive safely for life. I specialise in teaching manual driving, and my lessons are designed to be calm, supportive, and structured so every pupil learns at their own pace. I like to focus on independence, I want all of my pupils to be confident and competent enough to be able to drive where ever they choose once passed.
Away from the car, I’m a dad and a family man, which helps me understand the importance of patience and encouragement when teaching. My goal is to make learning to drive a positive, enjoyable experience from the very first lesson.
Broghan – Approved Driving Instructor (ADI)
Hi, I’m Broghan, a fully qualified driving instructor and co-owner of HSM. I’m passionate about helping learners feel comfortable and confident from their very first lesson. I work with pupils of all ages, but I have particular experience supporting young women and teenage learners who may feel nervous about starting their driving journey.
My teaching style is calm, friendly, and patient, and I always focus on creating a supportive environment where learners can progress at their own pace. For me, it’s about more than just passing the test — it’s about building safe, capable drivers for life.
